UAE’s charity work in Palestine appreciated

Nablus — Rami Hamdallah, Palestinian Prime Minister has praised the Human Appeal International (HAI) and other UAE associations’ initiatives for helping orphans and poor families in Palestine.

In his statement during an Iftar hosted by HAI for 3,000 orphans patronised by the Zakat Nablus Central Committee on the occasion of the Shaikh Zayed Humanitarian Work Day, the prime minister said that Mahmoud Abbas, Palestine President appreciates the HAI and Zakat Committees’ stances which are main players and contributors in the humanitarian work components.

During the ceremony, Dh1,852 million was distributed to talented and outstanding orphan school students from Nablus and all other Palestinian Governorates. — Wam
