President condoles Kuwaiti family

KUWAIT CITY The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has expressed deep condolences to a Kuwaiti family a woman and her three children who lost their lives in an incident of fire that broke out in their apartment in the Aridhiya area in Kuwait.

Shaikh Khalifa, who was deeply moved by the incident after reading about it in Kuwaiti dailies, sent a cable of condolences to the family of the deceased and prayed to God to grant the souls of the deceased perfect peace and their families the patience to bear the great loss.

The woman and her three children lived in an apartment on the first floor of a building which was gutted. Although the fire brigade was able to rescue the nursing mother and her baby, they also succumbed to their injuries soon after admission to the hospital.
