Newborn baby girl found dead in Sharjah
The body of a newborn baby girl was found in a plastic bag near a garbage bin in Al Sajjah area of Sharjah. The body was found by an employee of Bee’ah, the environment and waste management company, when he went to collect garbage for recycling.
A police source said that Al Sajjah Police Station received information about the dead baby and sent a team which transferred the body to the forensic laboratory to investigate the case and to find out whether the baby died immediately after delivery or if she died after she was placed in the plastic bag. The CID officers have launched an intensive investigation.
The police official said the baby weighed 3kg, which is considered normal.
