New Dubai gets 24-hour immigration centre

A report in Al Ittihad newspaper revealed that the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA-D) has launched a new centre in Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT).

Talking to the portal, Major General Mohammad Al Marri, Director General, GDRFA-D announced the introduction of a toll free number which will be accessible through the 27 external service centres across the city. The toll free number is 8005111.

The centre stresses on completing transactions within the stipulated time and will serve UAE citizens, residents and visitors.

Working 24 hours, seven days a week, the JLT centre is the first external centre working round the clock.
