Meet on male ageing

AJMAN — The Gulf Medical College, Ajman (GMCA) will hold the International Conference on Men’s Health and Male Ageing on December 23 at its campus in Al Jarf.

Thumbay Moideen, President of the GMCA, said the aim for the college is to complement the efforts of the UAE Ministry of Health (MoH), Dubai Department of Health (Dohms) and Emirates Medical Association (EMA).

He said the MoH and the General Authority for Health Services (GAHS) in Abu Dhabi, have reviewed and accredited the conference. Participants will be allotted 4.5 continuous medical education credit hours, Mr. Moideen said.

Leading experts from Germany and Europe will deliver state of the art lectures during the conference. Registration for the conference is still open. Among the topics to be discussed will be prostate cancer, sexual health, prostate enlargement, motivators and barriers to seeking treatment for erectile dysfunction, male aging, testosterone deficiency and the evolving role of the male hormone in sexual dysfunction.
