The inaugural bi-lingual issue of the magazine, to be published quarterly, features articles on Dubai's archaeological sites, UAE history in stamps, the Liberty Rally Team, DHL operations in the UAE, Jawaharlal Nehru's letters to Indira Gandhi, as well as news about Emirates Post and its partners.
In a message published in the magazine, Ahmed Humaid Al Tayer, Minister for Communications and Chairman of Emirates Post, said: "The launch of Nawafith reflects the spirit of innovation and dynamism that has been driving Emirates Post ever since it became a commercially vibrant corporation under the Federal Decree No. 8 nearly three years ago."
Mr Al Tayer pointed out that Emirates Post now promotes itself as a market-driven corporation that perceives itself as a provider of services, not just to the public, but to businesses. "I am sure Nawafith will serve as an important vehicle to boost Emirates Post's business activities by keeping the readers informed about key developments and achievements."
According to Abdulla Al Daboos, Director-General of Emirates Post, Nawafith will be the voice of Emirates Post.
