Abdullah Butti Al Qubaisi, member of the organising committee and exhibition director, said the exhibition would feature a number of exciting events for falcon lovers and hunting enthusiasts.

At least 70 predatory birds would be on offer during the exclusive auction of falcons, said Al Qubaisi.

The show will feature a variety of special events including, equestrian shows and horse auctions, camel auctions, saluki beauty championship and falcon beauty championship, said Al Qubaisi.

'The beauty of the face, the colour of the feathers, weight, size and overall appearance would be the criteria for judging the falcons on show,' he added.

As many as 432 members from over 35 countries have already registered for the exhibition, and we are expecting up to 500 entries.

'The security and preservation of the falcons are our top priority and agencies like CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species), along with the agencies in UAE, take complete care of the well-being of the bird,' he pointed out.
