15 Emiratis Ecstatic at Clearing Corporate Course

DUBAI— Fifteen young Emiratis, including 10 women, from under-privileged communities proudly flung their mortar boards into the air in the excitement of completing their two-month course titled CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). They were awarded certificates at a graduation ceremony on Sunday.

“An increasing number of national high school graduates enter the UAE job market every year, but not all of them find suitable positions. The 15 students were selected by the Red Crescent Society,” said Khalid Hadi, ENOC Group Brand and Marketing Manager.

“Out of the 15, eight students have already been employed in the various departments of ENOC, including the Retail and Administration departments,” Hadi said.

The training analyst of the CSR programme, Sameera Lashkari, said, “We gave them training in English speaking, computer science, public speaking, communication skills, and basic training in administration jobs.
