As the Dubai Fitness Challenge draws to a close, residents are all set to witness a host of activities to conclude 30X30 days of fitness challenge at the Weekend Fitness Carnival at Dubai Festival City.
The spectacular carnival will feature high octane stage performances, fitness activities, live entertainment, celebrity guest appearance and breath-taking water and light show, and fireworks, on 17 November and 18 November. The weekend carnival aims to involve all the participants in Dubai to mark the commemorative milestone with their 30x30 days of fitness achievements over the past month.
Lookout for energising Zumba Fusion classes, Football Freestyle and ballet shows to all-day ultra-flexible yoga sessions, functional training workouts and more. The carnival will showcase the very best of sporting activities from across Dubai and witness inspiring stories of the city-wide fitness phenomena.
One of the weekend's highlights will be a Guinness World Record Attempt on Friday 17 November for the most number of people attempting jump squats. While, World Heavyweight Champion and global sports icon Anthony Joshua will lead participants through an energetic workout session on Saturday 18 November.
Speaking ahead of his appearance, Joshua said: "It's been a year since my last trip to Dubai and I am excited to be coming back again, this time for the Dubai Fitness Challenge. It's a great initiative that encourages people to get active for 30 minutes daily for 30 days. I am committed to getting people moving and I'm looking forward to being part of this fitness movement! See you there!"
Besides, the exciting Dragon Boat racing competition will take place on 17 November from 1pm onwards where teams of rowers will be seen ploughing through the waters around Dubai Festival City.
Main stage highlights:

A special guest appearance by World Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua.
Virgin Radio host Kris Fade, who will work the crowds, take part in his own fitness challenges and hand out prizes to lucky participants.
Classes including GRIT Strength workout and Body Combat by experts from Les Mills, the world's leader in group training.
Dedicated dance fitness classes in ballroom salsa by Arthur Murray Dance Studio.
Interactive shows from Football Freestylers and professional ballet dancers.
Yoga, Barre and POUND Drumming Workout sessions, designed to get participants of all ages moving.
Kid's Fusion Classes by Gold's Gym.
Fun-filled activities children will also be conducted at Children's Fun and Fitness Zone featuring trampolines, climbing walls, parkour sessions, and Les Mills exercise classes designed specifically for children aged 2-12.
Thirty days of Dubai Fitness Challenge, running from 20 October to 18 November, has seen people from all walks of life participate in the movement in form of various physical activities like beach cricket, cycling, football, paddle boarding, team sports, walking and yoga, and everything in between. 

The closing ceremony for the 30-day challenge is set to be hosted at Dubai Festival City Mall. Here's the list of events:
