The floodwaters spared nothing, soaking their furniture, rendering household appliances useless, and destroying the newly-purchased school books
Would you like your fries warm? Because this indeed is... FAST food! As you open the door for the delivery boy, be prepared to see a fancy white Lamborghini or a red Ferrari parked at your gate.
After fast food giant McDonald's tried out speedy delivery in Australia with flashy sports cars in October 2014, speculations are rife on Twitter that McDonald's will pull that stunt in Dubai as well.
However, McDonald's hasn't made any such official announcement. A customer care executive told Khaleej Times that the rumours were baseless.
A tweet that sparked these rumours was retweeted at least 700 times and liked by around 2,000 people in just 4 hours.
Twitterati was quick to come up with the most hilarious quips. While some got lured to move to Dubai after this news, there were others who joked, "Who cares about the Lamborghini, the surprise element is that McDonald's does deliver in Dubai."
One person wrote: "McDonald's delivering in Dubai with a Lambo but you all can't even put 2 patties on my double cheeseburger."
