UAE traffic: Accidents cause delay on Dubai, Abu Dhabi roads

Congestion was reported on roads between Sharjah and Dubai this morning.

Drivers experienced significant delays in different parts of the UAE during the rush hour commute on Wednesday morning.
In the capital, the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport took to Twitter at 7:53am to report an accident on Saada Bridge inbound. The right lane has been blocked. The incident caused heavy deays and snarls, which was cleared at 8:17am.

An accident on E44  Al Khail Road near Al Quoz's Industrial Area caused delays, according to Google Maps.

Commuters faced long tailbacks on Al Awir road from Al Warqa, the Ras Al Khor Industrial Area, Jebel Ali and Dubai Investments Park area. There is also heavy traffic on the roads headed from Al Nahda and heading into Dubai.
