Massive traffic jams have been reported in the capital and across Dubai, Sharjah on Tuesday morning.
According to a traffic monitoring page TrafficDXB, an accident was reported E611-Emirates Road before Maliha Road intersection towards Abu Dhabi, causing added congestion to rush-hour traffic in the area.

 
In Abu Dhabi, traffic is moving slowly on the E10 from Reem Island to the Eastern Mangroves. There are further delays inbound roads near Al Maqta area and Abu Dhabi Gate City towards the city.

According to Google Maps data, traffic snarls affected drivers on Al Awir road from Al Warqa, the Ras Al Khor Industrial Area, and on the Dubai-Al Ain Road.

Tailbacks were reported with heavy congestion on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road from the National Paints roundabout in Sharjah to Dubai.

Slow moving traffic was also observed on Sheikh Zayed Road's E11- Al Itihad Road, Airport Road and Al Rebaat Street towards Dubai. Delays were also expected on Al Wahda Street.
Motorists are advised to drive safely and take alternative  routes wherever possible.
