The planes landed in Jordan early Monday morning and the aid is already on its way to be distributed to those families and people most in need.
The operation was coordinated by Her Royal Highness Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Chairperson of International Humanitarian City, working with the local authorities and the National Crisis Centre in Jordan.

Princess Haya will continue to work with the authorities in Jordan and the National Crisis Centre to monitor the situation and provide further assistance as required.
The death toll from flash floods in Jordan rose to 12 on and the kingdom's main tourist attraction, the ancient city of Petra, was closed for cleanup after what local officials said was the biggest deluge in the area in decades.
