An Indian national who spent 37 years in Dubai finally struck gold when his ticket No.0338 in Series 253 won him US$1 Million (Dh3.67 million) in the latest Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire draw. 
Kalapparambath Mohamed Ali Musthafa, a 58-year old father of three, who recently retired as a sales representatives for Gulf Target Holdings LLC, is now back in Kerala, India after being with the company for 17 years. 
The draw was held at Terminal 3, Concourse B of Dubai International Airport. 
He bought his third ticket for the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire promotion at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel in August, just a few days before flying back home to India for his retirement.
The winner said he has no immediate plans as yet with his US$1 million prize money and commented, "I am very grateful to Dubai Duty Free for this new fortune which I will share with my family especially to my two sons living in Abu Dhabi".
The Finest Surprise Draw to win a luxury bike was conducted directly after the Millennium Millionaire draw, which was won by a seven-year old Muhammad Hamdan Faisal. Muhammad's father, Faisal Malik, a Dubai-based Pakistani national bought ticket No. 0433 in Series 315 under his son's name. 
Faisal, owner of an auto-parts business, is a regular participant in Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise promotion.
