Night swimming in Dubai can soon be a reality

The light towers were tested at the Umm Suqeim 1 on May 21
Swimming at Dubai beaches will soon become more exciting. Swimmers can now enjoy the experience during the night with the installation of 'smart power poles.' The towers are completely powered by wind and solar energy emitting lights to illuminate the sea.
The light towers were tested at the Umm Suqeim 1 on May 21.
This follows the installation of Wifi stations and beach libraries as a part of the government's plan to make Dubai a place of 'smart beaches.'
In case of success of the power poles, night swimming could soon be a reality on Dubai beaches.
