Motorists have been warned to be extra  cautious as light rainfall has been reported at various parts of the UAE on Monday morning.
Dubai Police have warned motorists to reduce speed on slippery roads during rain.

In the capital, the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport took to Twitter to report the road closure near Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street under bridges complex towards Mussafah Bridge. The left lane has been blocked, so look for alternative routes.
Meanwhile, in Dubai, heavy congestion was reported on E11 Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Khail Road, Dubai-Al Ain Road, Al Warqa Street and along the E66 intersection near Dubai Silicon Oasis.
Slow moving traffic was also reported on Al Wahda and Al Nahda streets from Sharjah to Dubai.
