Dubai Police airlifted an injured man in Oman via its air wing to Rashid Hospital in Dubai.
The Dubai Police employee had been on vacation with his family in Oman when he had a traffic accident. 
According to local sources, Ali Muhammad Al Muhairi, director of Dubai Police Air Wing Centre and Air Wing commander, said they received the distress call notifying them of the incident and the man's need for immediate medical attention.
The air wing team was dispatched along with a doctor and nurses from the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS), to the Kizad border checkpoint. 
The injured man was waiting in an ambulance provided by Nizwa hospital in Oman.
He was then transferred to Rashid hospital in Dubai.
