Travellers going abroad always want to land in the new city just at the right time in the afternoon so that they can straight check in the hotel. And this is not different for tourists coming to Dubai, too, as thousands of visitors check in to emirate's hundreds of hotels every day.
Those visitors who arrive much earlier before the standard check-in time of 2pm, they have to a wait till their rooms are made neat and tidy by the room keepers without wasting a minute of their precious holidays.
But the UK-based Virgin Holidays, owned by billionaire Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Group, has a unique idea for its clients coming to Dubai as they don't have to sit - and get bored - in the lobby until their rooms are tidy.
The British firm's guests coming to stay at Dubai's luxurious Atlantis Palm can get their holidays started with a splash by heading straight into Aquaventure Waterpark, if they reach the hotel much earlier their check-in time.
"Because flights from the UK land in Dubai early in the morning, there can be a wait before you get access to your hotel room later in the afternoon. Enter the v-hub, where you can get your holiday started in style," says Virgin Holidays.
The guests can simply store their valuables in the complimentary lockers after check-in and jump on a buggy to dive into the waterpark.
Of course, there are showers to freshen up before driving into Aquaventure Waterpark.
According to Dubai Tourism, the emirate received 15.8 million tourists in 2017 with UK among the top three source markets. The number of UK visitors inched up two per cent to 1.27 million last year.
