An unidentified motorist was so fed up with massage card distributors, took matters into his own hands and put up a card of his own on his car.
The Dubai-based musician, Harris Dio Smith, saw the hilarious message and posted a photo on his Facebook page that has since gone viral, according to the City Vibes.
In all caps, the message read 'do not put card please!' in an effort to shoo away card distributors that are apparently rampant in Al Barsha area.
Earlier this year, Khaleej Times reported that the distribution of massage service cards with lewd images of undressed women has been a growing menace in Dubai. In 2017, the average number of massage service cards collected per day by Dubai Municipality workers were 6,000 to 7,000. This year that amount has nearly doubled with up to 10,000 cards collected on a daily basis. The areas where most of the massage cards are found include Karama, Al Rigga and Barsha Heights (Tecom).

Authorities are also considering harsher punishments for card distributors. Abdulmajeed Abdulaziz Saifaie, Director, Waste Management Department of Dubai Municipality, told Khaleej Times that card distributors could face deportation by the end of the year.
"They usually distribute those cards to earn a couple of hundred dirhams in a day. Most of the people we catch are Africans, some are Far East. Usually they are on visit visa. Some of their visit visas are expired and they stay here illegally," Saifaie added.
Residents are also advised to dispose of the cards in designated rubbish bins lest they face a Dh500 fine for littering.
