Dubai Police officer rescues girl trapped in mothers locked car

Dubai - The woman was pleading to rescue her daughter -who was gasping for breath and had started showing signs of fatigue.

When Lieutenant Jassem Mohammed Abdullah heard a distressed woman screaming for help at the Global Village parking lot, he knew that something was extremely serious and needed his immediate attention. The man-who works at the General Department of Traffic of the Dubai Police - leapt into action and to his dismay, found a small girl trapped inside her mother's locked car. The woman was pleading to rescue her daughter -who was gasping for breath and had started showing signs of fatigue.

The quick-acting Dubai Police officer didn't think twice as he broke the window glass of the car and pulled the child out of it, thereby preventing her from suffocation. He handed over the rescued child to her mother.  
The girl's mother thanked Jassem for saving her child and standing by her in one of the most difficult situations of her life.
Brigadier General Abdullah Ali Al-Ghaithi, director of the General Department of Security of Bodies, and Emergency, honoured lieutenant Jassem for his exemplary deed.
Brigadier General Al-Ghaithi showered praise on Jassem for his prompt action and courage. He pointed out that the officer took the right decision in a critical situation and deserves accolades.
