Flying out of Dubai? Watch out for these road diversions

Dubai international airport issued an advisory to all passengers flying out of the emirate on Saturday morning.

"Dubai Airports advises customers travelling to DXB this Saturday May 5, between 12:00 am and 8:00 am, to allow extra time to reach the airport," the airport said.

"Road works [have been] scheduled on the Airport Road and Marrakech street intersection. Drivers are kindly requested to take alternate routes," the announcement added.

Dubai Airports advises customers travelling to DXB this weekend to allow extra time to reach the airport due to scheduled road works. Traffic delays on Airport Road in both directions may occur between the hours of 11:00 on Thursday, April 19 and 07:00 on Friday, April 20.
