Starting from today until August 3, 2019, Dubai Summer Surprises will bring residents and visitors with six weeks of sales with more than 300 brands participating in over 3,500 outlets, giving shoppers 25 to 90 per cent off.
Malls are offering 12-hour sale, giving customers up to 90 per cent off on kids wear at the Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif, City Centre Deira, City Centre Me'aisem, City Centre Barsha and City Centre Al Shindagha.
Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) will treat residents and tourists to six weeks of sales, promotions and events.
Grab your favourite item during 12-hour sale
An array of summer deals will be spread out across the city's shopping outlets, attractions, hotels and family entertainment spots.
In addition to the citywide sales, shoppers will also be treated to an exclusive offer on a specific retail product at a select shopping location each day as part of the Deal of the Day promotion.
During the 12 hours, shoppers can take home more than just their purchases with select stores presenting free giveaways and exclusive buy-one-get-one deals. Shoppers who spend Dh300 can enter a draw to win a grand prize of Dh50,000.
There will be complimentary parking for shoppers during this sale.
There will also be a variety of returning favourites, such as Modhesh World, Deal of the Day (an exclusive deal every day for one brand, in one location, and for one day only), live concerts and many more.
The festival will offer new elements, too, including huge chances to win life-changing prizes throughout the summer period.

Mall of the Emirates
At Mall of the Emirates, shop for Dh600 and get a chance to win every day, for 44 days. Shoppers will be part of a daily draw to win an Dh10,000 Mall GiftCard.
Mall of the Emirates has also launched 'Summer D'Or', an initiative to enhance the luxury-customer journey and offer instant rewards and customised services to them this season. Any purchase of a designer piece from Mall of the Emirates will get you instant rewards during the Summer D'Or campaign. All summer, shoppers who spend AED 3,000 at participating luxury stores at Mall of the Emirates will get an instant three per cent cash reward in the form of a Mall GiftCard.
City Centre Deira
At City Centre Deira, everyone gets a taste of victory. Shop for Dh250 for a chance to win the grand prize of Dh100,000. Shoppers could also win an Dh100 Mall GiftCard instantly when they shop for a minimum of AED 500 at any fashion store. Diners who eat to the value of Dh150 and above will receive VOX Cinema tickets.
City Centre Mirdif has collaborated with the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment to give one lucky customer a chance to walk away with up to Dh1 million in cash instantly in an exclusive 'Spin the Wheel' opportunity. To enter the draw, visitors must simply spend Dh350 or more in the mall and present their receipts at any customer service desk. One winner will be picked on July 31 for the opportunity to spin the wheel and win big.
City Centre Me'aisem
This community mall has partnered with the Dubai Shopping Malls Group to give away six Infiniti cars during DSS. To enter the draw, shoppers need to spend Dh200 or more.
Winners will be announced on June 29, July 6, 13, 20 and 27, and August 3. City Centre Me'aisem is also bringing back 'Summerland', a vibrant activity zone where children can take part in fun games and workshops encouraging imagination and artistic skills.
'Summerland' will also feature an area where customers who spend Dh500 can get their things hand-painted and personalized by a specialised artist.
City Centre Al Shindagha
The community-oriented destination will be introducing a summer rewards programme where shoppers can collect points to be redeemed for prizes such as mobile phones, TVs, laptops, watches, perfumes, VOX Cinema tickets, travel tickets and gold coins. Every AED 10 is equal to one point, and customers can collect prizes starting from 100 points.
Enjoy family shows
This summer, the Justice League superheroes will descend on Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Deira and City Centre Mirdif to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Batman. The malls will host engaging live shows, exciting activations and VR experiences for visitors of all ages, starting at City Centre Deira on June 27.
Children can participate in the 20-minute interactive shows that will take place four times daily, with an opportunity to meet and greet their favourite superhero and post for memorable selfies with Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and the rest of the Justice League.
Youngsters can also suit up and test their superhero abilities with the champion team as they search for two new recruits at the Justice League Academy. They can train alongside the defenders of the planet fight for justice in this Virtual Reality experience.

Planet Modhesh at City Centre Mirdif
Customers who shop for Dh250 at the mall get free access to Planet Modhesh, an edutainment space for the entire family, and suitable for all ages. The interactive hub will have workshops, an e-gaming zone, arts and crafts station, a peddle battle game and an exciting VR experience.
Roaming Entertainment
City Centre Deira will have a fun and engaging 'Toys Factory' show to keep its young visitors entertained, as well as a stunning Tug of War show that combines juggling, balancing, magic and comedy.
Shoppers at City Centre Mirdif will be enthralled by international roaming shows during the festival. Performers will transform into living, breathing works of art and create illusions with 3D technology. The eccentric chocolatier Willy Wonka will also stop by with his companions, the Oompa Loompas and Candy Girls, to entertain children.
At Mall of the Emirates, spectators will be captivated by 20-minute graceful rose ballet shows, live soulful jazz music played by the 'Men In Black' band, and magical performances by dancers dressed in stunning white angel costumes, four times daily throughout the festival.
Shop longer with extended hours
Throughout the festival, retail stores in the malls will be open until 12 midnight and restaurants until 1am on weekdays, while the malls close at 1am on weekends. This will give shoppers more time to shop, dine with friends and family and enjoy the activities.
