Dubai Marina Music Festival - Just walk by on the Dubai Marina walk or the Promenade and explore the interactive music installations at Dubai Marina Music Festival. Also, watch bands perform live music every evening between 6pm to 10 pm at different stages and a big performance outside Marina Mall.

New Year Eve's fireworks - Bid goodbye to 2018 by watching spectacular fireworks at multiple places in Dubai. Depending on your location, you can head to either The Burj Khalifa, Atlantis at Palm Jumeirah, Burj Al Arab or Dubai Festival City.
Head early to reserve your spot as it will get crowded with thousands of revellers turning up to watch the fireworks.

Dubai Festival City Mall Festive Market
Soak in the Christmas fervour at the Festival Bay where a 'larger-than-life' Christmas tree has been put up. Sing holiday carols, and enjoy the festive-themed imagine shows and snowfall at the Dubai Festival City Mall Festive Market. Also, indulge your taste buds as there are plenty of food stalls put up.

Explore Dubai's new island Bluewaters - Just a short walk from The Beach on JBR, you will reach Bluewaters by Meraas. With sea hitting the pad, it is a perfect place to spend your evening with chilly wind hitting you. Explore the food options with a dozen restaurants overlooking the Arabian Gulf.
If you don't want to walk, a short buggy ride will take you along the pedestrian bridge to Bluewaters. Keep your camera handy as you will have many photo opportunities.
Meydan Horse Racing
Watch Dubai's highly competitive horse racing at the Meydan Racecourse on December 20. The 24th race season will include over 20 races at the deluxe course. Entry to the racecourse is free and a range of fine dining packages are available at the venue.
