Dubai Fitness Challenge: It's groove and move day for Galadari Brothers

Dubai - At Galadari Brothers' headquarters, dozens worked up a sweat to the foot-tapping music of Zumba, combined with Bollywood beats.

What started on Friday morning as a group run has turned into a fitness movement across Galadari Brothers Group, with hundreds of employees taking on the 30x30 challenge.
This is the third consecutive year that the company has pledged support for Dubai Fitness Challenge.
On Sunday at 4.30pm sharp, scores of employees from across the group of companies hit the ground on seven locations and participated in a 30-minute workout guided by expert trainers.
At Galadari Brothers' headquarters, dozens worked up a sweat to the foot-tapping music of Zumba, combined with Bollywood beats.
"It is the first time I participated in a group workout session. It was fun and engaging," said Neha Shaikh, conference producer.
Rasool Baksh, a machine helper, said he "really enjoyed the workout". "I will try to attend every day. Leading an active lifestyle is important for our health," Baksh said.
At Galadari Trucks and Heavy Equipment Centre in Al Quoz, staff members flexed their muscles in a tug-of-war contest, which was also followed by a Zumba session.
At Galadari Ice Cream Company (Baskin Robbins) in Umm Ramool, a combination of Zumba and yoga saw employees sweat it out, while those at Ziebart and Mazda took a 30-minute break from work to do a calisthenics workout.
