Dar Al Ber helps Rohingya with better healthcare

Dubai - The campaign reflects the international humanitarian role of the UAE

The Dar Al Ber Society, in collaboration with the Zayed Giving initiative and Sharjah Charity House, has launched a new campaign, under the theme 'Give to relieve them', for the benefit of the Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh.
The promising drive is aimed to provide an integrated field hospital, healthcare and medicine for the vulnerable refugees at the Bangladeshi borders in pursuance of the country's policy and vision of the prudent leadership.
The move will help ease the suffering of deprived people and boost the charity position of the UAE worldwide, according to Khalfan Khalifa Al Mazrouie, chairman of the society.
"Dar Al Ber has already joined hands with the Zayed Giving in building and operating the Emirates voluntary field hospital in Bangladesh, which has already started operations."
The hospital being run by a group of Emirati volunteer doctors provides the best possible medical services to the Rohingya refugees displaced from Myanmar to the Cox's Bazar city, he added.
"Donations are accepted to help secure the urgent needs of the Rohingya refugees in view of the UAE's previous charity campaigns."
The campaign reflects the international humanitarian role of the UAE and civilised image of the country, Al Mazrouie underlined. "This is apart from the human values of Dar Al Ber and its relentless philanthropic efforts locally and abroad."
Imran Mohammed Abdullah, head of charity projects sector, said the campaign shall remain open to provide the biggest relief aid possible for the Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh.
"These emergency relief items will help ease the suffering of all segments of Rohingya refugees, be they men or women, old or young, along with senior people and patients."
Abdullah urged all philanthropists; individuals and entities, to support the campaign and contribute for the Rohingya refugees. "This is in line with the Islamic charitable and humanitarian values of Islam sought by us all."
