Ajman - A man has lodged a complaint with the Ajman Education Zone claiming that his son was stabbed with a pen in the buttocks by his Nigerian school teacher.
The man claimed that the teacher of the British school “humiliated” his 10-year-old son in front of a classmate.
The man also lodged a complaint at Al Humaidiya police station against the teacher, charging him with assault and abuse.
Ali Hassan, Director of the Ajman Education Zone, said the Investigation Committee will summon the teacher and the school’s headmistress as part of a probe they have launched.
If found guilty, the teacher would be terminated, he said. “Before taking the final decision, the result of the investigation will be referred to the Ajman Public Prosecution.” The father said his son tried to complain to the headmistress about the incident, but she reportedly told him to return on Sunday with an eyewitness.
“I went to the school to lodge a complaint against the teacher, but the school headmistress shouted at me and asked me to leave the school,” he claimed.
