Congress president Rahul Gandhi to visit UAE in January

Sharjah - He planned this visit to meet the Indian diaspora in the UAE.

President of Indian National Congress (INC) party Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to visit the United Arab Emirates on Friday January 11, and Saturday, January 12 in 2019.
Himanshu Vyas, secretary of the All India Congress Committee (AICC), the national organisational body of the Congress party, confirmed to Khaleej Times that Gandhi will be visiting Dubai on January 11 and 12 to meet with the Indian diaspora.
"I will be visiting Dubai on December 21 to 26 and more details on the public gathering, and other visitations will be revealed then. But for now, I can confirm that Rahul Gandhi is visiting Dubai in January," he said.
Furthermore, according to other sources in the Overseas Indian Cultural Society, also known as INCAS, an Indian community with allegiance to INC, the 48-year-old party leader will also be addressing students of the University of Sharjah.
