Stargazers in UAE could be in for a rare treat tonight.
The UAE Space Agency issued a statement on its Instagram account, giving residents the heads-up on incoming space junk which may be visible without a telescope.
"The latest results of the UAE Space Agency and International Astronomy Centre's ongoing space debris monitoring suggest the potential for industrial debris from a recent launch to the International Space Station @iss to fall over UAE territory.
"The debris will disintegrate and burn up upon entering the Earth's atmosphere, a process that may be visible with the naked eye this evening."
