British expat wins luxury car in Dubai draw after purchasing over 50 tickets

The British national is a regular participant in Dubai Duty Free.

A British national was announced the lucky winner of Mercedes S560 (Diamond White) at the Dubai Duty-Free Finest Surprise draw on Sunday. The winner named Mr. S.M who is living in Dubai since 26 years, is an engineer and was overwhelmed after Finest Surprise ticket no. 1224 in Series 1675 was drawn by Li Haotong from China.
Haotong is the world's 60th and latest winner of Omega Dubai Desert Classic who won by a single stroke against Rory McIlroy at the Emirates Golf Club on Sunday.
Mr. S.M is a regular participant in Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise promotion and revealed has purchased more than 50 tickets earlier in a bid to hit the jackpot. "Nothing can top this morning call from Dubai Duty Free, and I couldn't believe that I have finally won. Thank you so much!"
Haotong was present at Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise draw to conduct the draw and was accompanied by Dubai Duty Free's executive vice-chairman and CEO Colm McLoughlin, COO Ramesh Cidambi, and executive vice-president - corporate services Salah Tahlak.
Tickets for the Finest Surprise promotion were on sale at Dubai Duty Free counters at Emirates Golf Club throughout the Omega Dubai Desert Classic, which was held from January 25 to January 28.
