Isra Wal Miraj public, private sector holiday declared in UAE

The UAE has declared a holiday for the public and private sectors on Saturday, April 14, to mark Al Isra Wal Miraj.
Work will resume on Sunday, April 15.
The announcement was made today by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources and the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.
A circular issued by the federal human resources authority stated that the decision is in implementation of the provisions of Paragraph 5 of Article 100 of the Cabinet Resolution No.13 of 2012 and regulations of the Decree of Federal Law No.11 of 2008 on human resources in the federal government and its amendments, which defines the public holidays of ministries and federal authorities in the country.

On the occasion, the authority congratulated the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and the Rulers of the Emirates, wishing them health and wellness.
It also congratulated the people of the UAE and the Arab and Islamic nations on the occasion.
