Ajman Municipality has announced banning barbecue and smoking shisha in parks, green spaces and beaches to preserve the health and safety of the population.
According to Al Bayan Newspaper, the Department added that it is committed to provide a healthy and clean environment for residents and visitors to the emirate, stressing that violations will be fined by 1000Dh.
Engineer Khalid Moeen Al Hosani, Executive Director of the Public Health and Environment division at the municipality said that the ban comes under the directions of His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the Head of the Department, to provide a healthy and ideal environment for families to enjoy a clean natural environment.
Al Hossani said that the health and safety of individuals and their happiness is the goal that we all seek and strive to achieve. Gardens, green spaces and beaches are the most important places for people to seek rest and the perfect atmosphere and pure health.
