Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi's Cinesplash will open in June, it was announced during the Arabian Travel Market held in Dubai this week.
Cinesplash will use special effects to awaken the senses and take guests on a simulated journey, a press release said.
Guests will follow characters they have come to know and love, as the story of the 'Legend of the Lost Pearl' is revealed through an immersive experience.
The 3D film will captivate audiences as they follow Dana's fun and courageous quest through the sands of Abu Dhabi to recover her humble village's rightful beacon of prosperity, the Mother Pearl.

Stimulating effects will include spraying water, water explosions, rain, waterfalls, neck blasts, water guns, and fountains. RGB lighted bubbles in the theatre walls and ceiling will be accompanied by ground fog, leg ticklers, wind effects, and 3 degrees of motion.
To ensure guests are fully submerged in the adventure, 45-50 cm of water will flood the theatre, as seat vibrations take the experience to new heights.

"We are happy to reveal Yas Waterworld's newest experience, Cineplash. This is undoubtedly one of the most exciting new additions to our lineup of experiences and we are very proud to be the first waterpark to introduce this attraction to our guests in the region" said Bianca Sammut, general manager, Yas Waterworld.
"Providing visitors with fun aquatic adventures with local personality is at the heart of what we do here at Yas Waterworld, and we are grateful for our team's hard work and relentless dedication in bringing this experience to life.  We look forward to celebrating the legacy of our home through this dynamic experience," he said.
