The Abu Dhabi Criminal Court has deferred the case of a woman accused of stealing Dh20 million from a local bank, to spend it on her lover who had promised to marry her.
Al Khaleej has reported that the court will discuss the case on September 10, 2018.

The woman worked as an Operations Manager in the Personnel Section of the bank was responsible for transferring money between accounts.
The man decided to exploit the woman's feelings for him. He made false promises of marrying her and tricked her into paying his and his brother's debt. He also asked her pay for his travels to Europe, expensive watches and luxury cars with special number plates.
The woman made around 70 money transfers from different bank accounts from October 2016 to March 2017, worth Dh20.5 million.
The bank froze another 10 transfers worth Dh10 million.
