Mrs. Jarrar- the UAE resident, and Jordanian mother of two- was invited to spend an unforgettable day filled with "a million things to do on Yas Island" accompanied by her husband and children, all of whom had no idea that she was in fact the winner. Kicking off her Yas Island adventure in style, the lucky winner and her family enjoyed a luxury breakfast in the presidential suite at the Yas Viceroy hotel. They were then greeted by popular Emirati social media influencer, Khalid Al Ameri who accompanied the family as their host for the day. Next on the agenda was a visit to Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, where they were all given a VIP Majlis welcome and whisked away to a traditional pearl diving demonstration at the Hairat Yas Pearl Diving Tank.
Next, they were picked up in a fire-red Ferrari California for a thrilling ride to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi's (FWAD) Driver Experience entrance where they were greeted by the GM of FWAD, Jesse Vargas, who took the wheel to drive the family around the theme park, making a few pit stops at popular rides and eventually pulling over for lunch - which included a live cooking session at Italian eatery, Mamma Rossella.
After a jam-packed day filled with thrilling and exciting entertainment, the family was eager to wind down on a relaxing sunset yacht cruise at Yas Marina. Little did they know, they were about to be in for the surprise of a lifetime as host KhalId started to wrap-up the day's events - they were presented with a cheque in the amount of Dh1,000,000 with the winner's name!!
"I just can't believe it! I don't know what to say - I'm truly speechless" exclaimed a stunned Mrs Jarrar as she embraced her family through tears of joy. "Today's adventure has been absolutely incredible for all of us and never in my wildest dreams did I think that we'd also win the 1 million dirham grand prize. Now, I have one million reasons to love every single thing on Yas Island and the UAE, I'm so grateful and can't thank Yas Island enough for making this dream come true", she continued.
Commenting on the big reveal, Gerardo llanes, Executive Director of Destination Yas Island stated: "On behalf of the wider Yas Island family, I'd like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mrs. Jarrar for winning the #SayYas Dh1 million grand prize. We hope it makes a treasured impact on her life and the lives of her loved ones. We also extend our sincere thanks to everyone who visited Yas Island throughout the summer and who participated in this exciting campaign, including those who won a daily, instant or monthly prize. Although the summer has now come to an end, there are still a million things to do on Yas Island- with no shortage of fun to be had for both the young and young at heart. Once again, a big 'MABROUK' to Mrs Jarrar and to all the 2017 #SayYas winners!"
