Young Emirati experts lectured on creativity, entrepreneurship, science and innovation at a summer academy workshop intended to improve practical and entrepreneurial skills among schoolchildren.
The workshop, aimed at enriching young Emiratis with skills in the digital content field, was part of the Emirates Youth Summer Academy programmes being organised by the UAE government to help students spend the long summer holidays creatively.
Mohammed Al Hammadi, coordinator of the Emirates Youth Summer Academy, said: "The academy is proud to have a group of creative young people to deliver lectures and present workshops in various fields that will help improve the practical skills of young people.
"The young experts convey knowledge and skills to the students who wish to spare their free time during the summer vacation and invest in learning. The academy works with local and international partners to invest in the energies of the youth, through organising specialist training sessions, workshops and interactive lectures," added Al Hammadi.
"We are working together to empower our youth by teaching them science and knowledge, which will help them reach the highest levels." He added that there was considerable demand from Emirati youth to attend the academy's summer activities and youngsters have a desire to invest their spare time to serve their nation, while improving their lives and practical skills.
