Three people sustained mild to moderate injuries when their vehicles collided with a fuel tanker on Abu Dhabi-Al Ain road. 
The commotion was caused by two accidents that took place on the route. In the first accident, three cars slammed into each other. 
While the police patrol team and ambulance reached the spot near Al Khazena area, a second accident took place.
An approaching fuel tanker hit the parked police vehicle and flipped over.
The accidents led to multiple injuries and the motorists were rushed to Al Mafraq hospital in Abu Dhabi.

Lieutenant Colonel Mohsen Al Mansouri, Head of Traffic Investigation at Abu Dhabi Police Traffic and Patrols Department, asked motorists to abide by the traffic rules and follow speed limits. He also stressed that motorists need to leave a safe distance between vehicles to avoid traffic accidents.
