Pecker is a key witness in the case against the former US president, who is accused of falsifying business records to cover up hush-money payment
Following the huge critical and commercial success of 2010’s How to Train Your Dragon, Dreamworks Animation looks set for another bumper bonanza with its sequel.
With Hiccup (Jay Baruchel) and his dragon Toothless now the best of friends, the Viking isle of Berk has followed suit – as humans and their old winged foes have put their differences aside to co-exist in peace.
But all is not well for long, as a mysterious foe is building an army of wild dragons in his ice cave, with plans to take over the world.
Early reviews have been glowing for the family flick, which introduces Kit Harrington, Cate Blanchett and Djimon Hounsou alongside the original cast.
“Going beyond the pat eco-conscious message that every kids’ film has to have, HTTYD2 touches on how complex the emotional bond between a person and an animal can be,” said Leslie Felperin of The Hollywood Reporter.
“This sequel advances the story without sacrificing the integrity that defined its most atypical toon,” said Peter Debruge of Variety.
