For most of us, a nice cup of tea or coffee is the perfect pick-me-up in the morning. A hearty sip - whether you like it warm or cool - is enough to fill your senses with delicious swirls of flavour, but what makes the beverage taste even better is the creamer in it. We've got more reasons for you to add a dash of goodness, such as Abevia, into your life.

Strengthen your bones: Every sip you take gives you a boost in improving bone health. The calcium content in milk helps maintain the bones and reduces the risk of related diseases.

Fuel your body with vitamins: Besides being fortified with calcium and vitamin D, evaporated milk contains other nutrients, including vitamin B2, B12, phosphorus, etc., that boost your body's immunity and overall well-being.

Shed some pounds: According to research, milk gives the body a feeling of fullness, which can significantly stop you from overeating. This, in turn, aids losing weight. In the long run, it also reduces risks of developing issues associated with obesity.

Bonus!

Did you know that evaporated milk is not just limited for us in tea and coffee? The versatile ingredient is a fantastic addition when preparing savoury and sweet dishes such as creamy mashed potatoes, oatmeal, and even soups!

The perfect Thai Iced Tea

Ingredients

2 1/4 cups water

2 cups ice

2 tbsp Thai tea mix

2 tbsp brown sugar, or switch it with your favourite sweetener

1 tbsp black tea

1/2 cup Abevia evaporated milk

2 tbsp Abevia sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

- Bring water to a boil.

- Combine Thai tea mix, black tea, sugar, and hot water in a teapot.

Cover and steep for 5 minutes. Strain the tea cool for about 30 minutes.

- To make the creamy froth topping, combine sweetened condensed milk and evaporated milk and freeze for 20 minutes. The milk mixture is ready when you see a crystallised layer forming around the sides. Whip sweetened milk mixture.

- Use a handheld milk frother to whisk until the slightly frozen sweetened milk nearly doubles in volume.

- To assemble, fill cups with ice, pour in cooled down tea, and top with milk froth. Stir before drinking.
