A firing squad of the Daesh has executed at least 300 Iraqi civil servants, including some 50 women, who worked for the election commission, a media report said.
The mass killings on Saturday took place at a military camp in the Iraqi city Mosul, EFE reported.
A military official said at least 50 of those shot dead were women.
The Electoral Commission said in a communique that the Daesh terrorists slit the throats of another group of its employees in Mosul.
The commission asked the international community, the UN and human rights organisations to "intervene immediately to stop the massacre and crimes against the Iraqi people".
The victims' families told EFE that the terrorists told them about the killings but did not hand over the bodies.
Daesh overran Mosul on June 10 last year and since then has gained control over other cities in northern Iraq.
