The pan-Arab organisation, in a statement, said Israel’s decision takes the international community and its resolutions for granted, and provides conclusive evidence on the extent of Israeli occupation’s crimes against the historic city’s holy sites.
It accused Israel of insisting on hiding the reality of the dangerous situation resulting from its attempts to judaise the city in front of the eyes of the international community.
The Arab League called the international community to take a decisive action to force Israel to allow UNESCO mission to Jerusalem.
United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation, (UNESCO)’s fact-finding commission was due to make its first visit to Jerusalem on 20th May to investigate ongoing Israeli measures in the city.
