The company also has a Body and Chassis plant in Chennai for stamping, welding and assembly for Ford and Nissan.Its vacuum pump facility in Bengaluru caters to customers such as Maruti Suzuki, Honda Cars India, Mahindra & Mahindra, Renault Nissan and Tata Motors. The company also said in a statement on its website that with the two new Gujarat plants hiring 600 employees, it would be well-positioned to support increasing vehicle production forecast for the Indian auto sector.In a separate release on Tuesday, Magna and Indian conglomerate Tata Group’s automotive supplier Tata AutoComp Systems Ltd said they had agreed to form a joint venture in Maharashtra to supply seat systems for Indian commercial vehicle makers.
