Abu Dhabi — Lulu International Exchange, which is the second biggest regional exchange company has hit a network of 100 branches.

The 100th branch of Lulu Exchange was opened at Abu Dhabi’s Hamdan Street in the presence of T.P. Seetharam, Indian ambassador to the UAE, Yusuffali MA, managing director of LuLu Group International, senior management of LuLu International Exchange and a number of dignitaries.

The exchange has 30 branches spread across the UAE with presence in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah.

Speaking to the reporters after the branch inauguration, Yusuffali MA, who is also the chairman of LuLu International Exchange, said: “We are very happy to reach the landmark figure of 100 global branches across seven countries in just five years since our inception.”

The exchange began its operations with the opening of its first branch in Al Wahda Mall of Abu Dhabi in 2009.

The company soon expanded its operations to Oman, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain in the GCC region and India and Philippines, said Adeeb Ahamed, chief executive officer of LuLu International Exchange.
Adeeb said Lulu Exchange has received tremendous acceptance across all the countries where it has its presence.

He said Lulu will be able to provide its customers a one stop shop for all their remittance and forex requirements along with its personalised and responsive services.
