The event got underway with high winds and blustery conditions seeing a field of 25 lady members battling it out for the March title.
Yumiko with a tremendous net 68 won by two clear shots from Daniela Sacchini and Kuson Waimer. Claiming her first Monthly medal win Yumiko commented, “I feel very lucky to have won today and have never played so well in tough conditions. Naema Maya won nearest the pin on her way to also picking up best gross with a very respectable 83 while Angie Southgate and Mini Philip also collected their on course prizes. This win puts Yumiko into second place in the 2014 JW Marriott Order of Merit Series, while Daniela’s runner up finish in the march event leaves her a clear 32 points in the lead after 3 events.
