YTCA lads shine in England
DUBAI - A splendid half century (6x4s, 1x6s) by Ritik Sunil Israni and a match winning 5-wicket haul by Milind Dongre took YTCA to victory against Philadelphia CC in a match played at the Philadelphia Cricket Ground in Durham.
YTCA batted first and put up an imposing total of 122 in 25overs. They lost some early wickets but Ritik and Akash steadied the innings with a good partnership. Adil Ali scored a useful 10 not out.
In reply, Milind bowled a superb spell to take 5 for 16 in 2.4 overs and Philadelphia were all out for 52 runs.
Rahuland Nidruv took 2 wickets each.
In an earlier tour match, a terrific spell of fast bowling by Siddhant Jhurani enabled the Under 15 YTCA team to comfortably win their match against Washington CC at the Washington Cricket Club grounds in Durham.
