The hosts then never recovered from the early setback and lost wickets at regular intervals. Although Shamash Din tried to revive the innings with an unbeaten 36, wickets kept on tumbling at the other end and Dulsco failed to produce a good total to defend.

Usman M was the pick of the bowlers for Wings XI claiming three wickets for 25 runs. Abdullah bagged two for 17. Although Wings XI lost three more wickets Sajad A and captain Neeraj Ramamurthy did not allow any more hiccups and saw them through in the fourth ball of the 16th over.
