Waqas powers Lions to win
Seven Seas Strikers beat Dubai Lions by eight wickets to progress in the second Eat and Treat Cup cricket tournament.

Batting first, Dubai Lion (Yas Sports) were all out for 210 in 23 overs. Ali Teepu scored 77 while Faisal Rasool and Anwar Khan contributed with 26 and 23 runs respectively. Veteran player Freddy Sidhwa, Shafaqat Ali and Qader Nawaz took two wickets each.
In reply, Seven Seas Strikers scored 213 in 19 overs thanks to a hurricane knock of 114 by Waqas Ahmed off 50 balls (16x4 5x6). Ghulam Shabir Ahmed contributed with a healthy knock of 77. Ali Teepu and Naveed Safder took one wicket each, respectively.
The cricket tournament is organised by Seven Seas Sports Club at the Seven Seas Sports Club, DIP ground. The tournament is sponsored by Rons Enviro Care LLC and Freddy Sidhwa.
