Ultimate Pairs Golf event in January
Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club will host the 2014 edition of the 4th Ultimate Pairs Golf Championship, a Press release said.
One of the most eagerly anticipated tournaments of the year will return on the weekend of Friday and Saturday (January 24-25, 2014) with two-time defending champions Haneef Rabbani and Maajid Madni both looking to mark their name on the coveted trophy for the third consecutive year.
However, last year’s runner-up and Sharjah Golf & Shooting Club members’ father and daughter pairing of George and Georgina Liu will be desperate to go one better and lift the trophy for the first time.
As always the event will consist of four different formats played over two days under full championship conditions. The golfers will be faced with a Texas Scramble, Betterball, Greensomes and finally a Foursomes format, which after two taxing days will bring to the forefront the 2014 SGSC Ultimate Pairing. The closing date for entries is Saturday, January 18. To register your pairing please contact the golf reservation team on 06548-7777.
