Abu Dhabi — Tawasar Ali produced a fantastic opening spell by taking six wickets from four overs to guide William Hare Abu Dhabi Gymkhana to a resounding 104-run win over Enigma in the Onashi UBL Floodlit Twenty20 Trophy.

Enigma were left reeling at 15 for six and were skittled out for 68 in reply to Gymkhana’s 172 for five at the Shaikh Zayed International Cricket Stadium.

Tawasar returned with excellent figures of 4-0-15-6 after Mohammed Shafiq top scored for his side, a breezy 58 not out off 34 balls, highlighted by seven fours and a couple of sixes.

Anil Adnani and Nasir Husain took six wickets between them to script a five-run thriller for Interface Transworld over Grand Mid West.

Grand Mid West lost their opener Irfan Ahmed (0) in the first ball he faced but Pakistan imports Shahzaib Hasan and Khalid Latif shared a 91-run stand for the second wicket to set them on course.

Shahzaib hit 62 from 39 deliveries and Latif 46 off 44 and their departure in quick succession saw Interface fight back to clinch victory.

Alubond Tigers and Ibsons ran out comfortable winners over Petroleum Institute and Al Faraa respectively in the other games.
