Stage ready for ICC events
DUBAI - Four of the 16 teams that recently competed in the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier UAE 2012 will now turn their attention in the coming weeks from the shortest version to the longer formats of the game with the upcoming third round fixtures of the Pepsi ICC World Cricket League Championship (WCL) and the ICC Intercontinental Cup.
Afghanistan are hosting the Netherlands at Sharjah in the UAE for its ODIs today and on Saturday, as part of the WCL Championship.
The two sides then lock horns in their Intercontinental Cup fixture from Monday.
Windhoek will play host to the Namibia-Canada match in the ICC Intercontinental Cup fixture from April 5 to 8, while the Pepsi ICC WCL Championship matches are scheduled for April 10 and 12, respectively.
