The men’s 0-14 course handicap competition proved to be a hotly contested affair, with Paul Spinks taking victory by the tightest of margins via count-back, after drawing with Donovan Joseph on 38 points. In the men’s 15+ handicap competition, Pierre Zbinden proved too strong for the rest of the field taking the title after carding a score of 34. Zbinden was closely followed by John Gay, who captured second place with a credit-worthy score of 33.

Noy Phintham took first place in the ladies competition. Rivoli Stableford successfully raised Dh2,550 for the Typhoon Haiyan victims fund.
